Jacob "jabbi" Nygaard joins Heroic

Heroic has confirmed information that Jakob «jabbi» Nygaard, who previously played for Copenhagen Flames, will join its roster. The cyber athlete, now eighteen years old, will take the place of Ismail «refrezh» Ali, who was sent to inactivate last Saturday. The organization attributed the decision to the team's failure over the past year «to make the final» step and win at least one major trophy after returning to LAN tournaments. Her representatives also noted that the «team is willing to risk something good for a chance to be the best».

Jabbi has played for the Copenhagen Flames for nearly two years, and has posted an average rating of 1.08 during that time. Despite his youth, he has accumulated a lot of experience, having been to the last two majors, with his team making the playoffs at PGL Major Antwerp. Heroic manager Oliver Valsgaard said that, in Jakob, the organization acquires one of Denmark's most promising players: «He is very mature for his age, has great communication skills and can aim. He is determined to work hard and is constantly looking for ways to improve his game».

Heroic's new roster has already started training and is set to make its debut at IEM Cologne. The Danish team will begin participation in the tournament with a play-in stage on July 5.
