On Wednesday, France's Vitality announced the signing of several players at once. The lineup will include former Astralis members Emil «Magisk» Reif, Peter «dupreeh» Rasmussen and Danny «zonic» Sørensen. Team co-founder and co-manager Fabien «Neo» David is confident that the addition of this trio, who have won multiple majors, to the roster will help Vitality reach the next level:
«Since our beginnings in CS: GO, we have worked intensively to rise to the top and have nurtured some of the best players in France. It's time for an international approach and the creation of a team that will include European cybersport talent alongside previous participants. Dupreeh, Magisk and zonic have proven their level time and time again with big wins and they are the ones who will help us become not just a strong contender but the best team in the world».
One of the Vitality members Matthew «ZyWoo» Erbo also noted that he is looking forward to playing alongside the Danes and is excited to share and learn from them.
Despite such a massive lineup change, the team leader will still be Dan «apEX» Madesclair, who will work alongside head coach zonic and analyst Matthew «MaT» Leber to maximize the potential of this squad.
