Valentin Vasiliev has joined fnatic

Bulgarian cyber athlete Valentin «poizon» Vasiliev has officially joined fnatic, the organization announced Thursday. Since the beginning of March, he has already appeared in its lineup as a substitute player, notably in open qualifiers at PGL Major Antwerp and at the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 15. Thus, the player has finally found a permanent team after leaving Complexity last October.

In recent months, fnatic has experienced a period of instability after Owen «smooya» Butterfield left the roster and Ludwig «Brollan» Brolin moved to NIP. Because of this, the team had to use various players from the youth squad as replacements in March. Now there is a possibility that she has managed to build a roster that can show a stable result for a long time.

Poizon initially made a name for herself on the professional scene, playing in the Bulgarian team Windigo. He had been a part of Complexity since January 2020, but left at the end of 2021 after the team failed to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm. He has remained a free agent since then. In the few times he has appeared in the fnatic lineup, poizon has posted an average rating of 1.12 and also performed well in his matchup against G2.
