The European MOUZ organization has announced that Dennis «sycrone» Nielsen, who previously worked with its youth squad, will become its head coach. During his tenure as MOUZ NXT coach, the Dane has had a lot of success in unlocking the potential of young players: under his leadership, the team has won two consecutive WePlay Academy inaugural seasons.
MOUZ is currently rebuilding the main roster after terminating the cooperation with the former coach Torbjörn «mithR» Nyborg, as well as one of the players Robin «ropz» Kool, who moved to FaZe. Another MOUZ member Frederik «acoR» Gildstrand is still on the team, but has been sent to the reserves as he has been underperforming lately. His place will be taken by nineteen-year-old Hungarian Adam «torzi» Torzas, who has already proven himself in MOUZ NXT.
Thus, another spot on the MOUZ roster is vacant for the time being. One theory is that the fifth player could be former OG Nathan «NBK» Schmitt, who has been without a team since the start of 2021. Having an experienced player in the lineup could prove to be a good decision for a team whose three members are currently under 20 years old.
