European eSports organization Sprout has announced the final roster for its CS: GO roster for the new season. The fifth member of the team was eighteen-year-old Max «Marix» Kagener from Luxembourg. Thus, Sprout will not form the core of the team exclusively from German players, as it was before: now, in addition to Marix, it has two Germans and two Danes.
Marix started his professional career in 2020, playing in the Benelux countries and then in Germany and changing teams. Kagener notes that he will soon change his location, as key players need to be in the same country to successfully interact with each other:
«For many people, my move to Sprout came as a surprise, but I'm glad I got the chance. This is a great opportunity to prove that young talent belongs to the future. It's also a significant step for me in terms of my personal life as well, as I will be moving to Germany so we can continue to compete in local leagues».
One of Sprout's members Fritz «slaxz-» Dietrich notes that Marix is probably one of the most promising young players on the German cybersports scene right now. Another promising player – seventeen year old Dane Victor «Staehr» Steyer recently joined Sprout.
