At the end of the week, the Russian Spirit put another player up for transfer. On the eve of DreamHack Open November, she announced her intention to part ways with Nikolay «mir» Bitiukov and Leonid «chopper» Vishnyakov. Now Victor «sdy» Orudzhev has also joined this list. Now, having sent the players who made up the core of the team into inactivity, Spirit plans to rebuild its Counter Strike division. The other two cyber athletes (Boris «magixx» Vorobyev and Abdul «degster» Hasanov) are still in its lineup for now.
Sdy has been playing for Spirit since 2018. With his participation, the team won several prizes in lower level competitions, as well as performed at its first RMR-tournament (ESL One: Road to Rio among CIS countries) and at DreamHack Open January. He was a meaningful contributor to the team's success in 2020 – 2021. Several times it managed to reach the finals or at least make it far up the grid in major tournaments such as IEM Katowice 2021.
Spirit management decided to put sdy up for transfer after the team failed at the DreamHack Open November, failing to win a single victory and ending up in last place. The cyber athlete's last appearance for Spirit will be at the Red Bull Flick event in Helsinki. sdy himself explains his departure by the fact that his vision for the future of the team did not coincide with that of the management.
