Serbian iNation will return to CS GO with a new lineup

Serbian organization iNation has announced that they are going to return to CS:GO. It was originally created in 2008, and has had several players who have subsequently made notable appearances on the cybersports scene. Now, many of those who participated in iNation before have supported the revived project. They include Janko «YNk» Paunovic, Nikola «Niko» Kovac and Aleksandar «kassad» Trifunovic.

Representatives of iNation explained that the former members of the team were not among its owners, but «supported the idea of passing on their legacy to young rising talents». The new iNation roster is made up of players who have been playing under the Anlaki tag for the past two months and have done well at several local competitions, including qualifying for IESF 2021. The roster includes both experienced Serbian cybersports players and newcomers.

Commenting on the revival of iNation, team coach Djokabomba said that the main goal of the project – is to create a healthy competitive environment in the Adriatic region and help local players and teams competing in CS:GO to reach a higher level. He also revealed that the return of iNation has been planned for a long time, but those plans faced various obstacles such as lack of time or players. The team was assembled after a blockchain company based in Cyprus offered it financial support.
