ropz will miss the start of IEM Katowice

It became known that Estonian cybersport player Robin «ropz» Kool, who recently joined FaZe, will miss the first days of the tournament in Katowice due to the fact that he has symptoms of coronavirus, and the test made on Wednesday turned out to be positive. He is expected to return to action on February 19, after the quarantine period is over for him.

On Wednesday, ropz posted a message on his Twitter account outlining the situation. He explained that the timing of his return to the team depends on how quickly he can recover. In addition, he will have to spend ten days in quarantine anyway, so as not to jeopardize the other participants.

The team has not yet announced who will replace ropz during his forced absence. FaZe should play its first match at the tournament on February 15: it will face Sprout at the play-in stage.

Robin «ropz» Kool's illness was an unpleasant surprise for the European team, which expects to take a high place at the tournament in Katowice. Ropz, who previously played for MOUZ, was added to FaZe's lineup this winter. He has already made a successful debut at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups, showing the highest ranking in the team.
