The final match of the Pinnacle Club Championship pitted two Danish teams against each other. In the end, Heroic defeated Astralis on two maps, winning their first LAN trophy and the top prize of $150,000. Kasper «cadiaN» Møller's team demonstrated their superiority quite convincingly, confirming their right to be called the best in Denmark.
The first map of this confrontation was Ancient, chosen by Astralis. In the first half of the match, Lucas «gla1ve» Rossander hardly managed to do anything against the pressure of his opponent, and they could only manage to keep three rounds behind them. After the change of sides, the balance of power was somewhat equalized, but the advantage remained with Heroic (9 - 16). Astralis looked more confident on Overpass, but Heroic won this map too, albeit with a smaller margin (11 – 16).
Interestingly, the tournament MVP title went to Benjamin «blameF» Bremer from Astralis despite the fact that his team lost in the grand final. He played eight cards during the tournament, posting an average rating of 1.41 on them. In the match against EG.PA, his rating was the highest in the tournament (2.06). In addition to that, the player was also in the top in four other metrics. For blameF, this is the first best player award, although he has made it to the EVP lists multiple times in previous events.
