On March 13, Valve released a new patch for CS: GO, which includes several significant changes. First of all, a number of amendments have been made to the Ancient map, recently added to the competitive mapp pool. Given that this decision came as a complete surprise to many players, it's not surprising that the map required tweaks and bug fixes, given that it will soon be used in tournaments. Map optimization was improved, visual and gameplay flaws were eliminated.
Also some corrections were made to the Grind and Frostbite maps. These include – fixing collisions of some objects, updating textures and eliminating places where players could get stuck.
In addition, this patch fixes a problem that has been plaguing players for some time. Previously, if players tried to connect to a game with «trusted mode disabled», a warning about it was shown repeatedly and interfered with users. Now this message will be shown only once per game.
The patch also eliminated a minor flaw in the calculation of statistics: the developers improved the algorithm according to which the weapon effectiveness indicator is calculated.
