The Dexerto portal has published new information regarding the use of the coaching bug. According to these records, Heroic tried to negotiate an agreement with players in 2020 that would prohibit them from speaking publicly about abuse of the bug for the next fifteen years and impose a hefty monetary penalty for violations. At that time, the players refused to sign such an agreement, reasonably fearing that it might end up damaging their reputation, as they would have no opportunity to speak in their defense.
In addition, the Dexerto investigation also revealed new information regarding Heroic's conflict with HUNDEN, which began to be actively discussed in the public space in the middle of this summer. The authors of the publication claim that its initial cause was a delay in the payment of prize money: at some point, the cybersports organization owed the coach more than $100,000.
Also, the source with whom Dexerto representatives communicated mentioned that Heroic is now negotiating with ESL, expecting to become its partner to then receive a share of profits from the organization of tournaments. Heroic's management expects to be able to reach an agreement despite the scandals surrounding the team in recent months.
