Eden Esports, which organizes the Malta Vibes Knockout tournament series, has announced the list of participants for the new season. The competition, titled Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5, will take place between January 17 and 27. Among the invitees – are many teams in the top 30 of the world ranking.
Among the most notable teams invited to the first stage are such teams as Wisla Krakow, Young Ninjas and Enterprise. The latter will make his first appearance without his sharpshooter David «forsyy» Beeley, who has moved to SINNERS. Among the Russian teams that will appear in the first stage – INDE IRAE, AVE and 1shot. A few more well-known teams received invitations to the second stage – forZe, 1WIN and K23.
The top eight teams will advance to the second stage, where they will have to compete against another eight teams that have received direct invitations. Among the participants who passed straight to the second stage – are two teams from the top 20 (fnatic and Copenhagen Flames), as well as several other organizations from Europe and CIS.
The total prize pool of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 is $50,000. In addition, the tournament is part of the Elisa Champions of Champions cycle, so at the end of the tournament participants will receive rating points, which will determine who will be selected for the final competition.
