Entropiq has announced that Nikolai «mir» Bitiukov will join its active lineup. The player, who remained inactivated for more than six months, will replace Viktor «Lack1» Boldyrev. This is the first change in the team's lineup since its inception in early 2021.
Prior to that, mir played for Spirit. He played over 500 cards in it with an average rating of 1.20, but was placed on injured reserve after team management decided to review the roster in October 2021. Now that his contract with Spirit has expired, he has been given the opportunity to join another team.
Entropiq coach Dmitry «hooch» Bogdanov is confident that mir – is exactly the player the team needs to overcome the plateau in results. Although the team managed to climb to the 9th position in the world rankings for a short time, it remains in the bottom of the top 20 most of the time and still lacks major achievements. One of Entropiq's executives, Paul Klaban, noted that they have been watching mir's progress for quite some time. He expects his participation will give the team additional firepower and allow them to take another step forward towards winning meaningful competitions.
Entropiq's new roster debuted at REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 on June 8 with a win over K23.
