Team G2's ingame leader Nemanja «nexa» Isakovic will not be able to take part in IEM Winter in the first half of December due to visa issues. This was announced earlier in the week by the team's management. The Serbian cyber athlete's place in the active roster will be temporarily taken by Kenny «kennyS» Schrab, who has remained in reserve since March this year.
In a statement on G2, it was noted that the French player will temporarily take the place of the sniper, sharing this task with another member – Francois «AmaNEk» Delaunay. The team representatives also note that nexa «will return to his duties as soon as possible», that is, when his visa problems are resolved.
Before the end of the year, G2 has one more major event to perform at, namely, the BLAST Premier World Final. This tournament will also be held in LAN format. It is still unknown how quickly nexa will be able to obtain a visa and whether he will be able to travel to the competition site to take part in it.
Thus, at IEM Winter the G2 roster will consist of two players from Bosnia and Herzegovina (NiKo and huNter) and three Frenchmen (JaCkz, AmaNEk and kennyS). German cyber athlete Jan «Swani» Muller is still the coach of the team.
