Brazil's MIBR team refused to use a six-man roster. At the end of the week, its management announced the termination of its partnership with Daniel «danoco» Morgado. The twenty-five-year-old cyber athlete has decided to leave the team and look for other opportunities to build his career.
The player joined MIBR at the beginning of 2021 and spent about six months in the squad, but for most of that time he remained in the reserves, especially after Rafael «exit» Lacerda returned to the active roster. In the short time that danoco has remained in the main roster, he has managed to participate in several major European competitions including cs_summit 7, Blast Premier Spring Groups and ESL Pro League Season 13.
Although team coach Alessandro «Apoka» Marcucci has previously stated that having six players in the squad is very important, Morgado has not appeared in any official matches since signing with exit. Another MIBR coach Renato «nak» Nakano explained that the team management discussed with danoco various options – such as renting him to another team or moving him to the youth roster, but the player preferred to become a free agent.
