Brazilian cybersports organization MIBR has announced its plans to find and support local players. The main objective of the project will be to identify young talented players in Brazil and build an infrastructure that will allow them to perform locally, gain the necessary experience and improve their skills. The ultimate goal of the youth team – is to build a roster of players who will be able to play for the main roster in the future.
MIBR is currently searching for a coach for the new squad, who will work with the young players together with lead coach Alessandro «Apoka» Marucci and strategy coach Renato «nak» Macato, who are currently in charge of the main roster. The coach is expected to select four players, and the fifth roster spot will be drawn in a special event to be announced soon.
MIBR head Yuri «Fly Fly» Uchiyama explained in a statement released on behalf of the team that the cybersports organization had plans to create a youth team as early as the beginning of the year. He hopes that this project will discover and promote new talented players from Brazil, developing the local professional scene.
