Brazilian cybersports organization Imperial has announced that Luiz «peacemaker» Tadeu will become its head coach. The thirty-three year old will be returning to his homeland after working with several high profile teams from various countries including TYLOO, Liquid and Heroic over the past five years. The peacemaker has been without a team since February 2021 after his association with the MAD Lions came to an end. He has been with the latter team for over a year and led it to victory in the inaugural season of Flashpoint.
Now his main task will be to prepare Brazilian Imperial for the next major international tournament, i.e. IEM Summer. The team recently failed to qualify for cs_summit 8 despite the recent addition of Fernando «fer» Alvarenga, a former two-time major winner. The team management hopes that the new coach will be able to change the situation. In addition, Imperial announced the return to the active roster of Caio «zqkS» Fonseca after he was forced to miss cs_summit 8 due to visa issues.
The Brazilian team will travel to Serbia next week for a bootcamp ahead of the IEM Summery The $250,000 competition will take place in early June.
