HUNDEN claims Heroic players knew about the use of the coaching bug

Former Heroic coach Nikolaj «HUNDEN» Petersen, who was disqualified for two years for violating fair play principles, gave an interview to Danish portal TV2.dk a few days ago. In it, the cyber athlete mentioned that other Heroic players he worked with in early 2020 were aware of his use of «coaching bug». At the same time, he refused to name specific names, noting that it is up to the players to recognize it or not – .

Heroic CEO Joachim Haraldsen called HUNDEN's statements false. Previously, when ESIC investigated the use «of the coaching bug», Petersen signed a statement stating that by using the cheat, he «acted alone, without the knowledge of other team members». Therefore, Haraldsen now believes that HUNDEN is trying to absolve himself of some of the blame by shifting it to other participants.

At the same time, the portal TV2.dk claims to have documents in its possession that can serve to confirm HUNDEN's words. Danish cybersportsman Jacob «Pimp» Vinneche is of the same opinion: in his tweet he mentioned that he has seen the materials on which the article is based and believes that HUNDEN may well be telling the truth. According to the TV2.dk publication, the players openly discussed whether to take advantage of the «coaching bug».

When asked why he only revealed it now, whereas previously he claimed to have acted without the players' knowledge, HUNDEN replied that he now saw no point in hiding anything.
