Danish Nicolai «HUNDEN» Petersen in an interview with the news portal TV2.dk was critical of the way the cybersport fair play organization ESIC handled the investigation related to the allegations against him.
He claims that the commission in charge of the case did not listen to his position before making a final judgment: «The only thing they did – was threaten me, saying that if I decided to appeal their decision, I could face a five-year ban». ESIC promises to publish the official results of the investigation on Friday, but already TV2 sources say that Petersen can expect a two-year ban.
HUNDEN was first accused in late July, when Heroic team representatives suggested that he may have shared the team's strategic developments with third parties. HUNDEN denies the allegations, saying that while he did pass on some information to representatives of other teams, it was not about any confidential developments. Heroic, on the other hand, claims that an internal investigation confirmed HUNDEN's misconduct, after which the team ended its partnership with him.
