Danish eSports player Lukas «gla1ve» Rossander has announced that he will not be joining the Astralis roster at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall tournament due to family reasons as he is expecting the birth of a child. Thus, Andreas «Xyp9x» Häuslet will take the place of the player. The latter will return to the team's active roster after being left out during the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 14, when the Danes failed to qualify for the playoffs.
Commenting on his decision on Twitter, Rossander emphasized that he would have really liked to participate in the tournament, but did not want to put the team in a position where they would have to replace him already during the competition. However, gla1ve is now actively involved in the preparation of Astralis and is working with its coach Danny «zonic» Sorensen to ensure that the players approach the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall in good shape.
Astralis management has not yet announced who will be the in-game leader in place of gla1ve. Emil «Magisk» Reif took over this function last time in the absence of the main captain, and it can be expected that this task will now be entrusted to him as well.
The Danish team has been placed in Group A of the BLAST Premier Fall. It will have to play against Evil Geniuses, Vitality, and Liquid between September 16 and 18.
