In the final of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 1, European Entropiq suffered a defeat in a match against Russian Entropiq, losing the first place in the tournament and the main prize of $25,000.
At the beginning of the match it seemed that the game was going in favor of ENCE: on the Dust2 chosen by the opponents the team initially led with a significant advantage (15 – 7), but then lost 12 rounds in a row, after which the fate of this stage was decided in overtime. Entropiq managed to keep the map behind them with a score of 16 – 19. The next was Ancient, and on it the fight was also very persistent: despite the fact that it was in favor of ENCE, Entropiq lost only at the end, losing this map with a score of 16 – 13. Thus, the decisive role in the match was played by the battle of the teams on Vertigo, and this time the advantage was unquestionably left to Entropiq, which won this map with a score of 16 – 13, thus becoming the owner of the main prize.
For 2021 Entropiq showed very stable results, steadily rising in the ranking: if at the beginning of the year it was around the fiftieth place, now it is in the top 20. Her next challenge will be to compete in the ESL Pro League. It will begin its group stage play as early as Sept. 1 with a match against FURIA.
