German cybersports organization BIG has announced that its head coach will be Niklas «enkay J» Krumhorn, known for his past collaborations with teams such as MOUZ, G2 and Envy. Enkay J is one of the most experienced coaches in German CS: GO. In recent months he has been working with Sprout, from which he left shortly before the majors, thus becoming an obvious candidate for the coaching position at BIG.
Previous BIG coach Dustin «DuDe» Grossman left the team in September, and for the past two months his place has been taken by Nikola «LEGIJA» Ninic. Under his leadership, the team qualified for the PGL Major and BLAST Premier Fall Finals, but this cooperation was initially planned as a temporary one until BIG finds a permanent coach.
The head of the cyber sports organization Daniel Finkler noted that enkay J has gained a lot of experience during his long career, which will be an important contribution to the development of the team in 2022 and beyond. The new coach will begin work immediately, as BIG faces a very challenging schedule for the rest of the year. Online, the team will make its first appearance under a new coach at DreamHack Open November, and in LAN format – at the V4 Future Sports Festival.
