Swedish cyber sports organization fnatic has announced that British cyber athlete Jamie «keita» Hall will become the strategy coach for its CS:GO roster. Andreas «Samuelsson» Samuelsson, who previously held this position, will move to a management position. Keita got the opportunity to join fnatic after he parted ways with Complexity in mid-July, with whom he had been working for about two years.
Keita's arrival – is another step in the transformation that the team's management has been trying to implement lately in an effort to achieve better results. Earlier, fnatic decided to invite players from other countries to the roster, not limiting it to local cyber athletes as it was before. As a result, Alex «ALEX» McMeekin and William «mezii» Merriman – both cyber athletes also from the UK, have joined the main roster. In addition, the management decided to reassemble the youth roster.
Samuelsson sees these developments as stages in a comprehensive process that should help the team return to a higher position: «It quickly became clear that keita might be the missing piece of the mosaic we were looking for. We immediately felt that he not only has impressive coaching talents, but is also willing to wholeheartedly commit to the role».
The new fnatic roster will first appear at ESL PRO League Season 14, which is this month.
