DreamHack Open November tournament ended with a victory for fnatic. The performance of the team, which currently includes cybersports players from Sweden and Great Britain, was highly convincing: on its way to the top it did not lose a single card in four matches, and in the final it beat German BIG with a score of 3 – 0.
Another notable event of the tournament was the match for third place between MAD Lions and forZe. Its result depended on which team would get a spot in the next stage of the ESL Conference. Since the tournament finalists, fnatic and BIG, are among the partner teams, they get a spot in the next ESL Pro League season anyway. As a result, the victory went to MAD Lions, who defeated forZe with a score of 2 – 1. First, the European team lost on Overpass, despite having chosen that map themselves. Although forZe won it with a noticeable advantage, they failed to keep it, and on Inferno and Vertigo MAD Lions were able to turn the game in their favor. Thus, MAD Lions secured a place at the ESL Pro League Season 15 Conference and $10,000 in prize money.
The best players of DreamHack Open November were three fnatic players. The most successful of these was Ludwig «Brollan» Brolin, who finished the tournament with an average rating of 1.40.
