Several publications covering the European cybersports scene have reported that Complexity is about to sign Brazilian player Marcelo «coldzera» David. The Brazilian left FaZe in June 2021, citing the team's series of poor performances and the imminent end of his contract as reasons. He has since been without a team for about three months.
Coldzera is expected to take the place of Christian «k0nfig» Wieneke, who has not yet recovered from injury. Another Danish cybersport player – Nils Christian «NaToSaphiX» Sillassen will play in his place in the nearest matches.
It is likely that coldzera will appear in the roster after Complexity finishes its participation in the ESL Pro League Season 14 playoffs. Next, the Danes will have to play in the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall, with their first match against FaZe – former teammates of coldzera. Also in the same group with Complexity and FaZe are Natus Vincere and OG.
It is still unclear how long Marcelo will stay in the team, as it will depend on the recovery speed of k0nfig. In his recent post, Christian, who injured his hand a few weeks ago, mentioned that the cast isn't due to come off until the 15th, and after that he will have to rehab.
