Brazilian cybersports organization TeamOne has announced that its head coach will be Tiago «btt» Monteiro. He will replace Joao «righi» Righi in the position. The message about it TeamOne published on its Twitter.
In 2021, the Brazilian team showed not too good results, and despite individual successes, its rating was mostly downgraded. TeamOne has performed well in local tournaments and won the ESEA Premier S37 in June, but its performance in international competitions can be called a failure: it failed to win a single card at the ESL Pro League Season 14.
Tiago «btt» Monteiro is primarily known as a successful cyber athlete who competed in Counter Strike 1.6. He played for mibr in this discipline, among others, and had an impressive showing at DeamHack Winter 2007. At the same time, he doesn't have much coaching experience. However, TeamOne management expects that btt will be able to use his knowledge to help the team develop more successfully and help it succeed at the international level.
TeamOne currently has four Brazilian players and one Argentinean. The team is ranked 49th in the world rankings.
