After months of discussions and rumors, Brazilian cybersport organization Imperial has officially announced the signing of Last Dance Roster. It is made up of well-known Latin American players, including two-time majors winners Gabriel «Fallen» Toledo, Fernando «fer» Alvarenga and Lincoln «fnx» Lau. Luiz «peacemaker» Tadeu will be the coach of the team.
In January, Brazilian project Last Dance announced their plans to participate in North American CS: GO tournaments, but at that time it was not yet known which organization would support them. Imperial disbanded its past lineup late last year and announced that it had no plans to continue contracts with its members going forward. Thus, Last Dance is expected to play for Imperial throughout 2022.
Fallen and fer have previously played together with fnx, with their collaboration coming during the most successful period of their career in 2016, when they scored victories at the majors as part of Luminosity and SK. However, the team subsequently ran into problems and fnx left the roster in early 2017. Another Last Dance member, Ricardo «boltz» Prass, has also played several times on the same team as the aforementioned trio.
The only newcomer and the youngest member of Last Dance will be Vincius «VINI» Figueiredo, a twenty-two-year-old cyber athlete who left FURIA in January.
