The organizers of the BLAST tournament series have released a documentary highlighting the highlights of the 2021 Fall Finals. The video, entitled «Ready Up», traces the tournament participation path of Finn «karrigan» Andersen, Casper «cadiaN» Moeller and Nikolai «device» Ridtz.
The documentary opens with a story about the impact of COVID-19 on the professional CS: GO scene, and a large part of it is dedicated to the importance of LAN competitions. Participating BLAST Premier players, analysts and presenters provide their perspective on the importance of LAN events. Three eSports players who get a significant amount of screen time reflect on their performance at BLAST Premier and what influenced their success.
The BLAST Premier Fall Final tournament was one of the most notable events of the second half of 2021. It was held at Copenhagen's Royal Arena, with an impressive prize pool of $425,000. The tournament featured five teams from the top ten of the world ranking, including Natus Vincere, who won the main trophy.
