Astralis have picked up a sixth player back in the squad

Danish team Astralis has decided to return to an expanded six-man roster. It was in this format until April 2021, when Nikolai «device» Ridtz decided to move to NIP, and five cyber athletes remained in the main roster. Now they will be joined by young sniper Philip «Lucky» Ewald, who previously played for Danish Trickled.

Lucky himself commented on his move to the new team as follows: «I really enjoyed playing for Trickled and I am grateful for a lot of things. But when you are invited to Astralis, everything changes… I realize that some people will compare me to device, but nobody can compare to him. Hopefully I can show who I am, and I will work hard to make my own contribution to the team».

The Astralis have yet to announce exactly when the new player will start competing, but one of the team executives mentioned that he should be an active roster member from day one. The addition of a sixth player could be especially relevant in the fall, when another Astralis member, Lucas «gla1ve» Rossander, is expecting the birth of a child and plans to take a break from playing because of it.
